Ben Heninger and Charles Phillips first established Bama Janitor Service in 1961. Located in Montgomery, Alabama, Bama Janitor Service was the first commercial cleaning contractor established in the state. In 1987, Steve Brannum and Michael Heninger opened the doors to Professional Management of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Today, Professional Management of Alabama is still locally owned and operated by Steve Brannum.

Professional Management of Alabama quickly became one of the fastest growing contractors in Birmingham, and is today considered one of the state’s largest.
